Dear “Senses of the Heart” workshop participants,
I am thankful to all of you for the very special heart explorations that we made in each other’s company last Wednesday Aug. 4 in Lily Dale. The possibilities that surround an open heart are many, and my sincere best wishes go out to every one of you.
When we came together and shared at the workshops end, our “gathering basket” held these nuggets of heart wisdom:

The people you have not yet forgiven tried, in the way they knew how.

When you feel love, don’t forget to show it.

Poetry is the verbal expression language of the senses. An open heart will often make you a poet.

In the midst of life lessons, remember that you may be the learner but you may also be the teacher.

Pay attention to EVERYTHING all around you.

Look forward to opportunities that lay ahead.

Your heart remembers important directional guidance, even if your mind doesn’t.

Have a lot of patience. Trust Spirit. Have patience.

Simplify. This helps enable us to receive messages.

Feed the senses a good diet.

Be perceptive. Pay attention to signs.

Pay attention to KNOWING, the sixth sense.

As always, Lily Dale was magical and full of wonderful people and healing energy. Nature was radiant in early July and I had a personal welcome from a swan on the lake! The workshop was attended by a lovely group of people who shone in their wisdom and sharing. Thanks to Teresa for being such a great assistant, and to the entire staff at Lily Dale for being so welcoming and accomadating. I will always have a picture in my mind of monks in red and saffron playing basketball with little and big boys at Lily Dale's court!
